We will make an effort to keep this page constantly updated to the latest research regarding science topics of interest to spiritual community. Last update Nov 29, 2018. Please share with us any new rigorous research/experimental findings by using our contact page. Popular and promising candidates from conjectures/theories explaining experimental data are presented in a separate page.
Is Reincarnation real?
University of Virginia, Division of Perceptual Studies
The University of Virginia’s Division of Perceptual Studies research portfolio includes investigating children who have memories of past lives; the nature of consciousness and the mind-body relationship; neuro-imaging studies of psi events; and individuals who report experiencing near-death experiences(NDEs). In this panel, the legendary actor, writer and comedian John Cleese, convenes DOPS research faculty to present an overview of the research to which they have dedicated their academic careers.

Is Enlightenment real?
The Neuroscience of Enlightenment
Dr. Andrew Newberg is the director of research at the Jefferson Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine and a physician at Jefferson University Hospital. He is board certified in internal medicine and nuclear medicine.
"Enlightenment is a traditionally mystical and slippery concept, but when it is subjected to the rigors of empirical analysis, there is a lot to be learned about our brains and ourselves."

Is Meditation real?
How Meditation Can Reshape Our Brains:, TEDxCambridge 2011
Sara Lazar is a neuroscientist at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School
"Neuroscientist Sara Lazar's amazing brain scans show meditation can actually change the size of key regions of our brain, improving our memory and making us more empathetic, compassionate, and resilient under stress."

Do Science and Dharmic Masters converge on nature of reality?
There are conjectures/theories that indicate converge, and they will be discussed in a separate page on the latest scientific conjectures that seem to converge with the Dharmic mystics and their description of consciousness and the underlying nature of reality. Quantum entanglement (what Einstein called "spooky action at a distance") is finally being shown in Bacterium. There is no definitive finished answer to this question from current scientific development up to the present time. The convergence seen in recent conjectures/theories revolve around Physics - String Theory, E8 Model, Sir Roger Penrose's Orch OR Model ; Quantum Biological systems and Quantum Entanglement. What is significant however is that there are no known explicitly divergent theories that seem to move away from traditional dharmic view of physical reality.
